VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Global Fund /GF/ supported projects on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis has been implemented in Mongolia since 2003 through nationwide. Ministry of Health is acting as the Principal Recipient of GF supported projects and established a project Coordination Unit to ensure the coordination and implementation of the project.  The Project Coordination Unit of GF supported projects on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis, Ministry of Health is looking for well qualified candidate for a full-time position of a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

   Main responsibilitiesof Monitoring and Evaluation Officer:

1.    Monitor and evaluate the implementation of HIV/AIDS and TB projects and progress indicators, and project reports;

2.    Collect and crosscheck semi-annual, annual and final reports for all projects and send to the Local Fund Agent (LFA) on time;

3.    Harmonize Monitoring and Evaluation activities with national strategy and policy documents and other programs

4.    Develop key documents of Global Fund supported projects (project summary, implementation framework, M&E plan);

5.    Manage, organize and participate in national and project evaluation activities and surveys

 

 Qualification and Competencies:

 

ü  Specialized in HIV, AIDS, STI, Tuberculosis or Public Health;

ü  Excellent command of both written and spoken English;

ü  Excellent computer skill

ü  At least 5 years work experiencein Public health

ü  Work experience on international projects in the field of communicable diseases will be an advantage

ü  Good communication skill, time management ability, Capable of teamwork and workload
