
Country Coordination Mechanism
GFATM requires the recipients countries to establish a Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) to develop project proposals, to ensure an equal participation of all stakeholders, to coordinate their activities and to monitor project implementation. Currently, the CCM is comprised of 23 members representing governmental organizations, NGO's, UN agencies, international NGO's, academia, private sector and people affected by HIV and TB.
CCM meets quarterly to monitor project implementation, provide recommendations, approve work plans and make decisions regarding other issues.
